I always look forward to ABSOLUT Fringe but I'm especially excited about MY LIFE IN DRESSES written and performed by Sorcha Kenny who has embarked on an ongoing ‘dress quest’ to uncover the real life stories behind the dresses lingering in wardrobes all over the country.

“Presented as a work in progress earlier this year at Project Brand New, Sorcha Kenny’s new work brought the house down. The full production is hotly anticipated”. Róise Goan, Director, ABSOLUT Fringe

I've always loved the idea of turning something very ordinary but useful into something fun and beautiful.

These made me smile ;-)

Isabella Blow

I came accross this tragic but beautiful article about Isabella Blow written by her husband Detmar Blow.

Isabella and Detmar Blow

There are just so many brillant images of beautiful creations worn by the wonderfully talented Isabella Blow but this image is my absolute favourite.  It was taken by photographer David LaChapelle, love it!

Antoni & Alison

ANTONI & ALISON was established in 1987.

“We are British designers working with art-based and sometimes, funny concepts to produce pieces of work which we incorporate into a range of clothing and accessories. Our work is the result of two people putting their heads together to create things that nobody asked us to do.”

Antoni & Alison met at St. Martins School of Art, London in 1982, where Antoni studied Fashion /Textiles and Alison studied Fine Art/Painting - they met in the first term, became inseparable and have worked together ever since…

Absolutely love the guided tour of the house
